Chaudharis worship various gods. Ahindo dev, the god of the hills, Himario dev, protector of fields, Kansari mata, the goddess of corn, Kaka Balia and Shilimata, the god of chickenpox. Vag dev (tiger), Nag dev (snake), etc, are some of their important gods. Some of the Hindu gods and goddesses have entered the Chaudharis' religious life.What is significant, however, is that some Chaudharis now mainly worship Ram, Krishna or such other Hindu gods. Stratum wise the differentiation is reflected in their religious beliefs. Large number of the Chaudharis still worship traditional Adivasi gods. Most of chaudharis have started following Hindusim like Ravi Shankar Maharaj,Swami Narayan,Swadhyay Parivar,Moxmargipanth, Satkaival ,Gayatri parivar also Muslim(Baba saheb) and cristian.
